Locking Unit KFPD for torque has become standard

Normally, SITEMA clamping heads strictly stop linear movements - we have had a tight grip on axial forces ever since. What only few knew: SITEMA can also secure shafts against torque.

For more than two decades, special solutions have existed for those cases where a shaft at standstill has to be prevented from starting to rotate.
As we have had more and more inquiries for pneumatic clamping heads of this kind, we have now made the KFPD a standard series.

This Locking Unit shows its full strength when axial forces have to be held at the same time as torque. Like all SITEMA Locking Units, the KFPD naturally can take over axial loads in both directions as well.
