Lloyd's Register type approval renewed

For many years already, SITEMA has offered a Locking Unit series specially adapted to the rough conditions in maritime applications: series KFHL, which is a variant of our proven and reliable Locking Unit series KFH. From the beginning, the KFHL convinced the experts at Lloyd's Register and has got its first official Lloyd's Register type approval certificate in 2009.

As this approval is only valid for a certain period of time, it was time for a renewal in the end of 2014. As could be expected, the KFHL has passed the challenging test procedures with flying colours and obtained the renewal of the Lloyd's Register type approval.
